Please join us at the Amster Gallery on Thursday, December 11 from 6-7:30 PM to view the amazing work of two talented artists! Jennifer Lewis brings her Stars of David Project all the way from Chattanooga, Tennessee to show in our gallery space. The Stars of David Project offers a tribute to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Each hand-drawn, carefully placed star represents a life cut short by the Nazi regime. Sara Young of Southeast Michigan, who showed a small sampling of her work in the Amster Gallery Group Show, will be featuring a large collection of spectacular 3D Wood Etchings and Engravings in the Newman Lounge.
Jennifer will be joining us over Zoom, and Sara will be here at the JCC to talk and answer questions.
Come schmooze and have a nosh while exploring beautiful and meaningful artwork. Pieces will be up and available for viewing until January 7, 2026.
Jennifer Lewis’s Stars of David Project is a traveling exhibit, but prints and greeting card sets will be sold. Sara Young’s pieces will be available for purchase.
We hope to see you here at the JCC on Thursday, December 11!
