Administrative Office Hours

Monday – Thursday: 9am to 5pm
Friday: 9am to 3pm
Saturday & Sunday: hours are program dependent
Offices close for all major Jewish holidays, including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, first & last days of Sukkot, Passover, and Shavuot.
Offices close for all major US holidays, including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Early Childhood Center

Monday – Friday
ECC closes for major US and Jewish holidays. The operating schedule of the ECC may differ from administrative office hours. Participant families will be provided with a schedule.

KidZone Afterschool

Monday – Friday
KidZone closes for major US and Jewish holidays. The operating schedule of KidZone may differ from administrative office hours. Participant families will be provided with a schedule.

In Case of Severe Weather

The Ann Arbor JCC must sometimes make the decision to cancel programming or close the building entirely without notice in order to respond to severe weather or other emergency situations that may pose a threat to people’s health and safety. The J will make our best effort to post emergency cancelations/closures via local news media, social media, or our website, as well as via program specific communication channels. Notification may not always be possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If Ann Arbor Public Schools close, but the J can open safely…

• ECC and KidZone Snow Day programs general go to a delayed start.
• Youth or ECC enrichment classes will likely be canceled.
• Most other programs will run as planned.
• Call the J to inquire.
