Jewish Community Center Association of North America

The Jewish Community Center Association of North America (JCCA) is the continental umbrella organization for the Jewish Community Center Movement, which includes more than 350 JCCs, YM-YWHAs, and camp sites in the U.S. and Canada.  The JCCA offers a wide range of services and resources to help its affiliates to provide educational, cultural, social, Jewish identity-building, and recreational programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. It also supports the largest network of Jewish early childhood centers and Jewish summer camps in North America, and is a U.S. government accredited agency for serving the religious and social needs of Jewish military personnel through the Jewish Welfare Board’s Jewish Chaplains Council.

35th Anniversary Archive Opening and Founders Gala

We celebrated the J’s 35th anniversary with a gala celebration at which an archive, 2 years in the making, was opened and the first ever history written about the J, “The History of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor,” by Fran Martin, was published and available for sale. Enjoy this slide show of photos from the evening event held September 24, 2019.
