Film Screening @ the J: Battle of the Sexes

June is Pride Month! The Wednesday film screenings will show a variety of films showcasing LGBT stories, some non-fiction and some fiction.
Join the J for the screening of the 2017 film Battle of the Sexes. Against the backdrop of the sexual revolution, this film is based on the famous tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, and profiles the origins of the rise of women’s professional tennis and of Billie Jean King.

Registration & Lunch
Films are presented free of charge and registration is not necessary. An optional lunch-for-purchase will be available at noon from the J’s Lunch Cafe. Please call (734) 971-0990 at least one day prior to reserve lunch or click here to reserve a lunch online.
$3* for those 60 and over. Please fill out a lunch registration form prior to enjoying lunch.
*$3 is a suggested donation to cover the cost of lunch for those 60 and over. Due to funding provided by the Washtenaw Counter Office of Community and Economic Development, adults 60 and over may choose to participate in our lunch cafe at whatever cost is affordable to them. No one will be turned away.
