Israel Center @ the J: The Wondering Jew: Israel and the Search for Jewish Identity
Sun January 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
The Israel Center @ the J shares with you this special presentation of the Shalom Hartman Institute/Detroit in partnership the Metropolitan Detroit JCRC/AJC: A conversation with Micah Goodman about his new book, The Wondering Jew: Israel and the Search for Jewish Identity.
The book explores Israel, Judaism, and the conflict between religion and secularism, one of the major causes of political polarization throughout the world. Micah will discuss the ideas presented in the book, in which he proposes a new approach to bridging the divide between religion and secularism in Israel with a goal of paving a path toward healing.
