Thursday Lunch & Learn: Leonard N. Simons Jewish Community Archives

March 30 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

Metro Detroit is known for having a large, connected Jewish population, but was it always that way? The goal of the Leonard N. Simons Jewish Community Archives is to not only collect and preserve records of Jewish Detroit, but make them available to the community. The archives include a number of different collections, including pictures, videos, oral histories, and manuscripts. Established in 1991, the archives celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2016. Join us as we learn about Jewish Detroit and the efforts by the archives to preserve our history.

Registration

This talk is offered free of charge, but RSVPs are requested.
