The J @ Bookstock
April 23 - April 30
Join the Ann Arbor J at Bookstock on Sunday, April 23, 2017 and help raise funds while promoting literacy!
Bookstock is the largest used book and media sale in Southeast Michigan held each year at Laurel Park Place shopping mall. The proceeds from the sale support education and literacy programs throughout the state while also supporting non-profits like the J! This year’s sale runs April 23 – April 30.
People who volunteer to help at the sale will also be generating financial support for the Ann Arbor JCC. By listing the J on their registration forms, any hours worked by volunteers will generate a donation to the J. The more hours worked, the larger the donation Bookstock will make to the J! We hope to use this year’s proceeds to offset the costs of youth programs like the Maccabi Games and Arts Fest.
Volunteers can join us on Sunday, April 23 as part of our chosen day, or any time during the sale, beginning with Saturday, April 22, 2017 for evening set up and ending with the post sale clean up on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Look for volunteer registration online and be sure to note that you would like your volunteer time to go towards the Ann Arbor JCC. Sell books and have fun!
