      The story of Noah and the Flood has captured the imagination of peoples from around the world, from the earliest civilization in Mesopotamia to twenty-first century America. This course will study versions of the story of Noah from the ancient Near East, the Bible, Second Temple Jewish literature, the Church Fathers, the Gnostics, and from the Quran.
